On Saturday, December 3rd from 4 – 4:30 p.m., Lee St James will be leading a workshop to help promote the University of Regina’s – Lifelong Learning Centre.

People of all ages are invited to learn how to use our social robot named Mindy. Make her say something funny, move her arms, change her facial expression, play a song or game. If you know how to use a smart phone or tablet, you can learn how to be a robot handler in under 10 minutes. Participants will have a chance to earn a Level 1 Robot Handler badge or make a holiday music video for Instagram or Facebook.

The Cornwall Centre is located at 2102 11th Ave in downtown Regina. The workshops will be held on the main level near the SaskTel store.

“She really helps to engage people with our new Christmas Carols,” says Lee St James. “Mindy can sing while moving her arms and changing her facial expression.”
